Thirty-nine imaginative artists will display their art at eleven locations throughout our county from Shingle Springs, to Camino. We hope to expand public awareness and enjoyment of the amazing creative talent we continue to discover and cultivate in our local community.
This is your tour and we need your help!
We have designed brochures and post cards for public distribution and expect the printed material (5000 pcs) to be available mid-August. We are asking every tour artist to assist in the placement of these materials in locations throughout El Dorado County.
To streamline our efforts we request each STUDIO HOST or a STUDIO REPRESENTATIVE to come to the August 19 PAA general meeting to pick-up materials for their group of artists. You will pick up a package of brochures/postcards for each artist and a Studio Tour Media kit. Also, bring $10 cash or check deposit for each directional sign you will check out and take home that day. It is the Hosts’ responsibility to coordinate the delivery/pickup of the package of materials for each artist in their group. If a STUDIO HOST or REPRESENTATIVE is unable to attend the August 19 meeting, contact Wendy Scarlett by texting ‘HELP’ to: 530-409-3024 to coordinate another date for pick-up or delivery.
Included with this letter are a Zone Map, Zone Boundary Description and Distribution Ideas. The map and boundary description will help you select the area most convenient for you. To sign-up click on or copy the following link. Do it now, it’s easy! https://signup.com/go/iDzaTHX
Next, schedule time on your calendar to distribute the postcards and brochures mid to late August. We urge you to coordinate with other Zone members. It is your decision where, and the quantity and type of media you want to leave. Ask the business owner if it is possible to post a brochure in a visible place, a door, window or workroom. The brochures are large and showy the postcards are less costly and have a smaller footprint. Both materials have a QR code for quick access to the comprehensive PAA Studio Tour Webpage. We recommend, if you are able, to revisit your sites in September to replenish supplies. Consider keeping some media with you or in your car, and when you are doing your daily business, look for more distribution opportunities. Give them to strangers with a smile.
This year there will be original or print artworks given away to lucky drawing winners from tour participants who provide their name and email on the Studio Tour Sign-in sheet that will be included in the Studio Media Kit.
We will send a July BLAST to PAA general membership to seek volunteers to assist with this plan. Remember, all PAA activities are provided exclusively by efforts of member volunteers. Help us help you to make this tour well attended and bountiful!
